Features of Ratchet Wrench
Torx wrench Basic fixed size collar wrench. There are generally 12-angle holes in the working collar, just enough to hold the hexagonal heads of the bolts and nuts. Some Torx wrenches design the working collar to be movable, which can be adjusted to a certain angle to suit the operation of some special spaces.Like a rigid hand, a plum wrench has a fixed working surface and must correspond to different specifications one by one. The specifications of the plum ring will be marked on the wrench. In addition, according to the needs of the application, there are also a series of products such as percussion plum blossom hand, curved handle plum blossom wrench and so on.
Compared with rigid hands, although the Torx wrench needs to be inserted into nuts and bolts every time it is used, it is not as convenient as an open-end wrench, but it has the characteristics of good combination with the nut and is especially suitable for small space operation. It is precisely because the plum wrench and the rigid hand have their own advantages, so there are dual-purpose wrenches with the two ends of the wrench, the plum blossom and the open end.
Structural features
The ends of the Torx wrench are sockets. The inner hole of the sleeve is formed by two regular hexagons which are concentrically staggered by 30°.
When in use, after the wrench is turned 30°, the position can be changed, which is suitable for operation in narrow occasions.
When in use, the head of the bolt or nut is completely surrounded, it is not easy to fall off, and it is safe and reliable.
Compared with the open-end wrench, the torque of the Torx wrench is larger, but it is also greatly limited by the space.
The wrench handle is curved or angled to provide clearance for fingers to prevent chafing.
